Having Molds at Your House is Horrible!

Having Molds at Your House is Horrible! - Brenda Leasure

I am one of those people who dislike even the least bit of dirt in my living area. I clean my room and house daily. Some of my friends call me a neat freak. Finding even the slightest spot in my house is like a horror movie to me. The worst horror movie I watched at my house was when I saw so many patches of mold under the old carpeting of my basement.

I planned to renovate my house a few years back. As mentioned earlier, I am a bit of a neat freak and I had planned to replace everything old from my house. I had also planned to remove the carpet of the basement. Unfortunately, I didn't clean the basement as regularly because it was not being used by any of the house members. It usually remained locked and closed.

When I went in the basement and asked the helping boys to remove the carpets, I was horrified to see all this mold growing underneath. For a person like me, it was the worst thing that I could ever see in my own house. I didn't realize what it was at first glance. Of course, I was in shock. One of the helping boys informed me that it was mold, which grows because of water damage or too much dirt. I didn't like the fact that I was essentially being criticized for not being cleaner by the boy.

At first, I did not know what to do about it. I took suggestions from my husband later that night. He told me to us professional help. We searched on the web and found a lot of companies providing the services of mold removal Montreal. I was relieved to discover that there was at least someone who could help me out. I asked them to come the very next day.

They came and used different methods and removed the entire mold from the carpeting. I cleaned the entire place with water and detergent later on. After that incident, I never took the risk of not cleaning the basement. Today, I clean it regularly with water and cleaning products. Now my house is mold-free and I love the renovation I did on it. However, back in my mind, I keep on thinking about the how I could have ever been be so careless about my basement.
